Carey Kinsolving is a gifted communicator who knows how to connect with adults and children. Recently, I asked him to speak at a pastor’s conference in Salem, Oregon. He showed the pastors how to use his Kids Talk About God online portfolio to bless families in the name of their respective churches. He does this through a database-driven website and business cards.
I was so impressed that I decided to use his method for the Grace Seminary of the Northwest. The seminary staff now has 5,000 business cards to pass out whenever they speak in churches. One side of the card contains information about the seminary, and the other offers a rich treasure of material for children and families courtesy of the seminary. Please see our webpage at www.KidsTalkAboutGod.org/gsnw.
Carey has combined his theological and journalism training in a wonderful way to empower Christian children to express their faith while reaching out to Christian and secular audiences. The Kids Talk About God newspaper column has been syndicated in daily newspapers for more than six years. His journey-of-faith profiles have appeared in The Washington Post and The New York Times News Service.
I highly recommend Carey for speaking engagements for adults and children. Pastors would be wise to consult with him about how to reach their communities. He has a proven record of using media (Internet, business cards, displays, newspaper, television and radio) to deliver the gospel in creative and relevant ways.
The one thing that characterizes Carey Kinsolving is his commitment to the gospel of grace. I first met Carey Kinsolving in the late 1980s when he interviewed me for an article he was writing for the student newspaper at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has not wavered in his desire to see unbelievers receive the gift of eternal life and to see believers transformed by the same grace that saved them.

We recently had a presentation at our church of “What I've Learned From Kids” by Carey Kinsolving of Kids Talk About God. The presentation was absolutely fantastic, and our church really enjoyed it. Several of our members commented on the impact of hearing and seeing the simplicity of the gospel out of the mouths of babes.
Carey’s presentation is living proof that kids do say the darndest things that are often quite profound and really make you think. I think by far what impressed me most was all of the comments I got from kids themselves. Children can learn by watching other children! Many of the young people in our church have been asking when Carey is coming back, and told me how much they really liked and enjoyed his presentation. I even heard one youngster tell his sister after seeing and hearing one of the kids from Carey’s video presentation, “Gee, I can do that. They make talking about Christ easy!"
I would highly recommend the “Kids Talk About God” and the “What I've Learned From Kids” presentations by Carey Kinsolving to other churches and Christian groups. It’s been said, “We should break things down so even a child can understand it.” It’s obvious that these kids get it, and that Kids Talk About God is a wonderful ministry for reaching kids and impacting the world for Jesus Christ.

So many of our guests have written or called me to say how moved they were by the profound insights of the children. Your presentation set just the right tone for the evening. The delightful artwork and stories were engaging. In the scheduled 30 minutes, you managed to convey the heart of the Gospel and to bring the message to a powerful closure. Carey, you have a God-given gift to reach people in a fresh and dynamic way.
